Custom Cookie Terms & Conditions

Payment: For ALL cookie orders, 50% of the total is required to place your order.  The remaining 50% will be due before pick up. Cookies may not be picked up until payment is made in full.  No order is confirmed until at least 50% has been paid.  The customer may choose to pay 100% up front if they wish.

Details: By paying the invoice, you are confirming the details and are agreeing to purchase the products listed there. Once the invoice has been paid, details may not be changed except at the discretion of the baker.  Please double check all spellings, colors, and design descriptions before paying the invoice as everything will be made just as listed there. Also note that icing colors may not be exact.  While efforts will be taken to get the colors as close as possible to the exact colors requested, due to variations in screens, descriptions, and available food coloring, there may be some variation in colors.

Pick Up: All orders must be picked up at the agreed upon location on the agreed upon day.  Items will be placed out for pick up no more than 15 min prior to the agreed upon time.  Reasonable precautions will be taken to protect the items from weather, fauna, or other factors related to being outside. However, if the cookies are not picked up within 30 minutes of the agreed upon time, the baker is no longer responsible for any damage to the cookies.  If the cookies are not picked up within 12 hours of the agreed upon time, the product may be donated or resold at the discretion of the baker.

Damage: The baker is not responsible for any damage to the cookies after they are picked up.  Care instructions are provided with each order, it is the customer’s responsibility to transport and store the items properly.  The baker is also not responsible if the items are not pick up on time and are damaged due to heat, cold, precipitation, or other factors related to being outside for an extended amount of time.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:  If you need to cancel your order, a refund will be given ONLY if the cookies have not yet been baked.  Once baking has started (~7 days prior to pick up), no refunds will be given.  All refunds will be issued in the same manner as the payment and the customer is responsible for covering any fees that may have been incurred due to payment processing.  If there is an issue with the order and a mistake was made, please contact me so that I can make it right.  

Kim’s Cookies shall be excused from any delay or failure in performance required hereunder if caused by reason of any occurrence or contingency beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, acts of war, fire, insurrection, strikes, lock-outs or other serious labor disputes, riots, earthquakes, floods, explosions or other acts of nature.
